I hung sheets of plastic from the grid and treated them with a paint wash. The plastic sheets could be moved during the production. Light projected onto the plastic created the sense of vastness or intimacy as desired. We hid objects and performers behind the plastic, illuminating them at key moments.
The play was split between two time frames and unified by a single character.  A raised, raked platform which represented the play’s present time was surrounded on all sides by the past.
